In the first Test of the series between the two teams, the Islanders’ all-rounder Angelo Mathews washed his hands of the host bowlers in the first innings and along with Dinesh Chandimal formed a partnership of 183.
On the contrary, by scoring the 12th century of his Test career, he strengthened his team’s position in the match.
