Attempts have been made to obtain information of ministries and divisions through fake emails.
According to the sources, the Cabinet Division has sent a letter to all federal ministries and divisions stating that fake e-mails are being circulated by ‘JS Coord’, with dangerous payloads attached to the fake e-mails.
In this regard, sources say that these fake emails can damage the security of the network and system of the ministries.
According to the sources, the ministries and divisions have been instructed to take a cautious approach on all received emails and it has been suggested to verify the email address and domain of the received email in advance.
