Australian cricketer Glenn Maxwell is fed up with the Indian Premier League and has taken an indefinite break from the IPL.
Glenn Maxwell has taken an indefinite break due to mental and physical fatigue.
In this regard, Glenn Maxwell says that he asked himself to be dropped for the match against Sunrisers Hyderabad, I was not contributing to the Royal Challenger Bangalore team with my performance.
“It’s a good time for me to take a break mentally and physically, when I’m mentally and physically strong I’ll be available again to the team. I haven’t done anything good in 6 months which is disappointing,” he said.
All-rounder Glenn Maxwell has scored 32 runs in 6 matches of IPL and Royal Challengers Bangalore are at the bottom of the points table.
On the other hand, Australian all-rounder Mitchell Marsh has been recalled by Cricket Australia due to a hamstring injury, while Australian leg-spinner Adam Zampa has withdrawn from the IPL for rest before the T20 World Cup.
