Bella Hadid shares some pictures and videos of the heartbreaking scenes of monsoon rains and floods in Pakistan on Instagram.
She writes that “more than 1,000 people have died across Pakistan due to floods”.
She writes, ‘during June to August this year, persistent monsoon rains destroy many villages. And also infrastructure in all four provinces of Pakistan’.
She further writes that ‘at least 33 million people affect by the floods across the country. 4 million acres of crops destroy and 8 lakh cattle died’.
Bela Hadid expresses concern about the future of Pakistan. She write that this situation is not only painful for the people of Pakistan. But it can also lead to long-term food shortages in the country. Which will put severe pressure on the country’s economy.
Bella writes that “Pakistan is currently facing a climate crisis and in such a situation we need to support the people of Pakistan”.
Se further writes that ‘in these difficult times, UNICEF is providing Pakistanis with life-saving medical supplies, clean water and food, stress relief, educational resources and much more’.
The American supermodel appeals to help Pakistanis. Model writes that ‘If you can help Pakistanis and want to donate, I am sharing the link in my account bio’. “And if you can’t help, it’s still important to raise awareness about this environmental crisis and speak up for those affected,” she wrote.
