Bilawal Collected Rs1.03 Trillion in One Hour

Bilawal collected Rs1.03 trillion in one hour as per reports Pakistan Foreign Minister collected amount from the member countries of the United Nations (UN) just in one hour.

According to the News, afterwards the appeal of Foreign Minister Bilawal, America gave Rs6.5 billion in donations to Pakistan for the support of flood affectees.

On the appeal of Bilawal, the member states of the UN including the World Bank, Asian Development Bank, World Health Organization, UNICEF, Red Crescent and Red Cross responded positively.

Whereas China, Turkey, America, United Kingdom, Azerbaijan, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, United Arab Emirates and other countries also publicized instant aid after Bilawal’s appeal.

The channel report said that in addition to the cash assistance, the UN member countries have also providing aid in tents, medicines, food and other necessary and important items for the flood-hit people in Pakistan.

He said Pakistan is in need of $160 million in aid for the flood victims, addition that greenhouse gases are causing an upsurge in global warming.

Throughout ceremony, Minister of Foreign Affairs Bilawal Bhutto Zardari also appealed for emergency assistance to Pakistan through these times of distress.

He added that due to climate change, heat waves have broken all records in Pakistan and now country is facing heavy rainfall and flooding.
