Britain’s Queen Elizabeth is being honored with a Barbie doll in her resemblance to stamp her Platinum Celebration this year.
Toy creator Mattel said on Thursday it was commemorating the monarch’s 70 a long time on the position of royalty with a Tribute Collection Barbie doll.
Dressed in an ivory outfit with a blue scarf embellished with smaller than expected emblems and strips, the figure too encompasses a tiara based on the one Elizabeth wore on her wedding day.
Elizabeth, who turns 96 on Thursday, climbed the position of royalty on the passing of her father Ruler George VI on Feb. 6, 1952.
She is the longest-ruling ruler in British history. The doll will be sold in London stores Harrods, Selfridges and Hamleys ahead of official Platinum Celebration celebrations in early June.
In the meantime, weapon salutes rang out yesterday (Thursday) to stamp Ruler Elizabeth II’s 96th birthday, in spite of the fact that the ruler herself was anticipated to stamp the event with small exhibit.
This year’s official birthday coincides with four days of open occasions from June 2 to 5 to stamp the queen’s record-breaking 70th year on the throne.
