Bushra Ansari recently released a new vlog on her YouTube channel. She introduced her followers and fans to her second husband Iqbal Hussain and also opened up about her second marriage at an older age and its effects.
She introduced Iqbal Hussain in his recent vlog in response to fan requests and queries.
Bushra Ansari and Iqbal Hussain also talked about their first meeting. They said they met in 2016 during the shooting of the on-air serial ‘Sita Bagri’. At that time both of us were divorced and both of us were alone.
Bushra Ansari said that Iqbal Hussain was senior to me in the matter of divorce and I got divorced sometime after his divorce. But we had not met each other till then, I never talked to anyone about my divorce.
The vivacious actress said that marrying at an older age is considered a handicap in our society. So when Iqbal Hussain proposed to her, she took time to accept.
She said that I never even thought about a second marriage, because I never needed it. I was financially stable even when I was married. After the divorce, I was busy with my work. Then he (Iqbal Hussain) came into my life, initially, I was against this decision, but when Iqbal Hussain met my family and friends, everyone liked him very much and then they all agreed with me.
Iqbal Hussain continued talking about Bushra Ansari and said that at that time Bushra’s mother and Sambal Apa were alive.
The actress said that her circle of friends from the showbiz industry also liked him very much, including older people like Badar Khalil, Rubina Ashraf, Behrooz Sabzwari, and Sultana Siddiqui.
Bushra Ansari explained the reason for her divorce
She said that since Iqbal Hussain has a serious disposition, he makes good friends with older people.
According to Iqbal Hussain, the relationship between our two families was still going on. The media got wind of it and the talk was leaked before the marriage.
Briefing his speech, he said that if two people, even if they are old, are getting a chance for a second marriage and there is no family dispute, then they should get married.
Bushra Ansari continued and said that in our society most people happily marry their old father but do not think the same about the mother. While the second marriage of the mother should accepted with open heart. It should not made a big or bad thing, but marrying an older woman should also become a norm in our society.
She said that both of our children, my two daughters, and his two sons are living abroad. They are very happy with our decision to live together and keep visiting us. Iqbal is working and he is in Islamabad. He often comes to Karachi, so we eat together and meet our friends.
It should noted that for the first time in 2019, the news regarding the marriage of both of them was in the media.
However, Bushra Ansari and Iqbal Hussain have never confirmed or denied these reports. But they seen together at many events including the wedding of well-known host Nida Yasir’s brother.
Bushra Ansari later opened up about her divorce in 2020 and confirmed her second marriage in 2023. But she did not reveal who she married to at that time.
On the other hand, Iqbal Hussain is a director and writer and he has also shown the essence of acting at the beginning of his career.
Earlier, Iqbal Hussain’s first marriage was with actress and host Farah Sadia known as Farah Hussain.
