Bushra Bibi booked in fraud case. According to News, the former prime minister and his wife Bushra Bibi arrested in a fraud case that filed at the Kohsar Police station in Islamabad for creating “fake receipts” when selling state gifts.
The chairman of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Bushra Bibi, Shahzad Akbar, Zulfi Bukhari, and Farah Gogi named in the case, which filed under the sections of fake receipt and cheating.
The accused allegedly used his forgery to sign fake receipts for the purported transaction and presented them for the purchase and sale of Toshakhana gifts, according to the FIR.
The investigation, according to the complainant, a local watch dealer, showed that the accused created fake receipts in his name on a false letterhead for his business, which then used to sell Toshakhana gifts.
