India’s superstar batsman Virat Kohli has admitted regarding his mental issues in the field of play.

Virat Kohli, who is known as ‘King Kohli’ in the Indian media, is currently facing criticism due to his poor performance.
He has also retired from all forms of captaincy since last year after his disappointing performance in the T20 World Cup.

While talking to the Indian newspaper ‘The Indian Express’, he said that ‘career pressure has sometimes had a negative impact on his mental health’.
In an interview published yesterday, the Indian batsman spoke about his mental health. He said ‘I have personally experienced some moments. When there are people in a room who are very loving and supportive. But even there I feel alone. I’m sure these are feelings that many people can relate to.’
Batsman said that it is definitely a serious matter and we try to strengthen ourselves as much as we want all the time but still it breaks us.
Cricketer advised athletes and sportsmen that it is important for athletes to rest. He also advised try to get out of the pressure of the game and reconnect with themselves.
He said that if you lose that connection, then it won’t take long for other things to fall apart around you.
Such a statement of the cricket superstar has come out when he admitted some time ago that he suffered from depression. He said that the depression was due to his failure to score runs against England in 2014.
“It’s not a great feeling to wake up knowing you’re not going to score good runs. At that time I felt like the loneliest person in the world.” Feelings shared by Virat Kohli in a podcast with English commentator Mark Nicholls in February.
Among the highest paid athletes in the world, he has not completed a century in any format since 2019.
