Court Granted Bail Imran Khan in Five Cases

ISLAMABAD: The district and session court in Islamabad on Monday granted bail to the previous prime minister and PTI Chairman Imran Khan in five cases against him.

Throughout the hearing, additional session judge East Abdul Ghafoor Kakar approved the bail appeals of the previous prime minister in five cases in contradiction of an Rs5,000 surety bond in each case.

Imran Khan also filed an appeal to released him from proceedings in the cases filed against at four police stations in Islamabad.

Formerly, previous prime minister and Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan got interim bail in 10 cases filed by the obligatory government against him, hours after journalist Imran Riaz Khan and Opposition Leader in Sindh Assembly Haleem Adil Sheikh were arrested.

According to facts, PTI leader Babar Awan seemed before the court on behalf of Imran Khan in the district court and begged that the PTI chairman could not seem before the court owing to a threat to his life.

The court also prolonged the bail appeals of Shah Farman and Shahram Tarakai.

Formerly, a district and sessions court in Islamabad granted Friday pre-arrest bail to previous prime minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan in different cases pertaining to vandalism throughout the party’s May 25 long march toward Islamabad.

PTI Chairman appeared before the district and sessions court of judge Kamran Basharat Mufi.

Consequently, the Islamabad court granted pre-arrest to earlier prime minister in 10 FIRs till July 6 and directed police to submit a record of cases in next hearing.

The additional hearing of the case suspended until July 6.
