According to foreign media reports, Cristiano Ronaldo, who represents Al-Nasr Club in the Saudi Football League, is facing a ban for making obscene gestures at the fans during the game against Al-Shabaab.
The star footballer has been banned for 1 match and fined by the Saudi Arabian Football Federation.
During the match between Al-Shabaab and Al-Nasr, the fans chanted “Messi Messi” on which Cristiano Ronaldo got angry. However, after scoring the goal, he made inappropriate gestures to the fans, the video of which went viral on social media.
Later, the Saudi football body announced an investigation into the viral video and banned and fined the player.
