Cyclone Biparjoy starts hitting Pakistani Coast. Within the next five hours, Cyclone Biparjoy will ultimately hit the Pakistani coast. It has already made landfall there.
The Saurashtra coast and a few ports in Jakhau have already been affected by the storm’s first phase.
The eye, or center, of the cyclone is 50 km in diameter.
It is anticipated that coastal communities like Kharo Chan, Shah Bandar, Jati, and Badin will be impacted.
Cyclone Biparjoy to hit Sindh today
It is currently lightly raining in places like Karachi, Thatta, Badin, and others. Residents have been relocated to safer areas, and security forces from the Pakistan Army are on hand to handle emergencies.
