Death Toll from Floods Has Exceeded 1,030

According to News, the death toll from floods has exceeded 1,030 in the past 24 hours after endless rain across the country, 74 in Sindh, 31 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 1 in Punjab, 4 in Balochistan, 6 in Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad. Kashmir, I also lost one life.

Flood disasters remain across the country including Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan, 119 people died and more than 70 were injured in the past 24 hours.

Rendering to data issued by the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), amongst those who died in the flood after the rains fell, 32 children, 56 men and 9 women, although the number of victims reached 57 lakh 73 thousand.

Throughout the past 24 hours, 949,000 homes flooded, more than 719,000 live stocks inundated, 267,719 homes damaged, 3,116 km of highways damaged, and 149 bridges washed away.

49 lakh people in Sindh, 4 lakh 50 thousand people in Punjab, 3 lakh 60 thousand people in Balochistan exaggerated by the floods.

On the other hand, two ships carrying relief materials from Turkey will reach tomorrow in Karachi for those affected by the floods, and the Turkish Consul General in Karachi will deliver relief materials to the Pakistani authorities at the airport tomorrow morning.

Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif had a phone call with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Yesterday, the Prime Minister educated the Turkish President about the floods in Pakistan.

The goods sent by Turkey comprise tents, medicine and other materials, whereas another shipment of aid is predictable to arrive soon.
