Indian actress Aditi Rao instructed to starve by Sanjay Leela Bhansali for a scene in the serial Heeramandi.
Filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s period drama television series Heeramandi released on Netflix today.
It is director Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s first OTT series. In which Aditi Rao, Sonakshi Sinha, Manisha Koirala, Sharmain Sehgal, Richa Chadha, and Sanjeda Shaikh will seen showing their acting chops.
During a recent conversation with an Indian web portal, actress Aditi Rao said that for an important scene, director Sanjay Leela Bhansali forbade her to eat anything, saying, “Aaj kuna nahi khana”.

She said that the scene was actually full of fire, which gave me a sense of injustice.
She said that when she met Sanjay Sir during the lockdown, the first thing he said after seeing how thin you had become, eat food. After which she started feeding us well.
Talking about the experience of working with Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Aditi Rao added that he always listens to music. And contrary to what is said about him, but he cares a lot about actors and wants them to show their essence.
