E-Filing System Applied in Government Offices

ISLAMABAD: The National Information Technology Board (NITB), a department of the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunications, has fully applied an e-filing system in all ministries, ARY News reported on Sunday.

According to facts, the e-office system fully executed in government offices.

This system will save millions of rupees from the national exchequer.

The e-filing system in the e-office program permits the electronic movement and following of files and the archival and retrieval of data.

The PITB has developed the e-Filing and Office Automation System.

It enable timely and effective management of official daily tasks and proceed towards a paperless office environment in the public sector.

The main objective of this management software is to ensure that every correspondence is digitally accessible round-the-clock.

In the meantime, the Ministry of Information Technology has said that:

The implementation of the e-system office will also flinch in the subordinate departments of the ministries.

On the other hand, the Sindh and Balochistan governments have communicated interest in an e-cabinet portal for the provincial cabinet. Both the provincial governments have demanded for development of an e-cabinet portal.

A state-of-the-art digital portal has also been developed for economic zones. The portal ready for economic zones will be establish in office soon.
