ECC approves Rs4bn for Defence Ministry

ECC approves Rs4bn for Defence Ministry. According to News, the Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) of the Cabinet approved Rs4 billion for the Ministry of Defence to cover its expenses.

The ECC approved Rs497.261 million in favor of the Ministry of Housing and Works for the implementation of the development scheme titled “Construction of Railway underpass Gojra, district Toba Tek Singh” as opposed to Rs263.988 million in favor of the office of the Controller General of Accounts (CGA) for the implementation of online billing solutions in Federal and Provincial Accountant Generals.

the Federal Directorate of Immunization (FDI) to purchase vaccines and syringes for uninterrupted supply to the provinces, and Rs420 million in favor of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting to cover its budgetary shortfall for Information Services abroad.

The President Secretariat will receive Rs25 million for ERE expenses, the Cabinet Division will receive Rs20 billion for the Sustainable Development Goals Achievement Program (SAP), the Intelligence Bureau will receive Rs208 million to cover employee-related costs, and the Ministry of Defense will receive Rs4000 million to cover costs.
