Electricity 3 rupees 39 paisa per unit expensive

The series of expensive electricity shocks to the consumers can not stop.

The electricity has more expensive due to the quarterly adjustment.

According to media reports, electricity will cost Rs 3.39 paisa per unit in October.

Nepra approves, the increase is make in the context of the fourth quarter adjustment of 2021-22.

The decision will impose an additional burden of Rs 3.39 paisa per unit on the consumers for three months.

The additional charges will recover from the electricity consumers on their October bills.

The authority will review the data and issue a detailed decision later.

Earlier, the Peshawar High Court issues an injunction on the recovery of fuel price adjustment in the bills from the electricity consumers of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

During the hearing, the court issues a restraining order on the receipt of fuel price adjustment in the bills from the electricity consumers of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The court stops the receipt of fuel price adjustment in the bills. And sought a response from the concerned authorities in this regard.

In the petition, it states that water is use to generate electricity in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. And the surplus electricity is supply to the federal government.

The petition says that the fuel price adjustment is still includes in bills of KP which is illegal.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is self-sufficient in hydro power generation.

The PM Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif announces the abolition of fuel price adjustment charges of up to 300 units.

He says that how is it possible to burden the people, PTI has sunk the country’s economy in 3.5 years.
