Electricity Rs. 1.15 expensive across the country.
Electricity for the whole country, including Karachi, has been increased by one rupee and 15 paise per unit.
According to the National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA), the increase has been made as part of the first quarter adjustment of the financial year 2024.
According to Nepra, consumers will pay an extra Rs 15 paise per unit in January, February and March.
