An Indian plane made an emergency landing at Karachi Airport.
According to Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) sources, an emergency landing allowed due to the unwellness of a passenger. The passenger of the flight died during the flight before landing.
According to various media reports, a passenger of the Indigo Airlines flight felt sick during the flight and the captain contacted the Karachi Air Traffic Control and sought permission to land in Karachi on humanitarian grounds.
Sources have said that the captain of the Indian airline reported a medical emergency, CAA and federal health ministry doctors checked the passenger, 60-year-old passenger Abdullah had died before landing.
“We are deeply saddened by this news and our prayers and wishes are with his family and loved ones. We are currently working with the relevant authorities to make arrangements for the transfer of other passengers of the flight,” the statement said.
Civil aviation sources say that the passenger is a citizen of Nigeria. The Indian Airline flight was going from New Delhi to Doha.

Sources have also said that the doctors of the CAA and Ministry of Health issued the death certificate of the passenger, the Indian plane returned to its destination.
