Fawad Chaudhry has arrested

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Fawad Chaudhry was arrested by Islamabad police from Lahore.

Police sources say that Fawad Ch. has arrested from his residence near Thokar Niaz Baig. He will be taken to Islamabad.

PTI leader Farrukh Habib says in his tweet on the social networking website Twitter regarding Fawad Chaudhry’s detention. That Fawad Ch. has been arrested from his house.

He further said in the tweet that the imported government has become a victim of confusion.

Farrukh Habib also shares a video in his second tweet in which he claims that these are the police vehicles that are arresting and taking away Fawad Chaudhry.

Islamabad Police has confirmed the arrest. A case registered against Chaudhry at Islamabad’s Kohsar police station last night on the complaint of ECP Secretary Umar Hamid Khan. A First Information Report (FIR) lodged against him and its members for using threatening language.

In his speech outside Imran Khan’s residence in Lahore, Fawad warned the ECP, its members and their families, according to the FIR.

It has stated in the FIR that Chaudhary says that the status of the Election Commission has reduced to that of a minister. Fawad said that those who are part of the caretaker government will pursued until they are punish. He had said that the people sitting in the government will chased to their homes.
