Fawad Chaudhry warns Punjab Governor. PTI leader said that Punjab Governor Balighur Rehman should refrain from any adventure.
Speaking to the media in Islamabad on Wednesday, the previous information minister clarified that the vote on no confidence not held today as the speaker of the assembly also issued a ruling in this favor.
He vowed a vote of confidence and no-trust motion beside Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervez Elahi would bear no fruit.
He said that Article 109 is very clear, a new session cannot called till the ongoing session ends. “The work of dissolution of the assemblies start from Friday”, he said adding that both the KP and Punjab assemblies dissolved at the same time later the no-confidence vote fails.
In the meantime, federal interior minister Rana Sanaullah said that the government can force the governor’s rule in Punjab if the PTI takes any illegal measure. He added that if imposed, the term of a governor’s rule was six months.

Answering to him, Fawad Ch said the government cannot impose governor rule in the province, saying under which law the government will impose the rule.
“Pervaiz Elahi is the chief minister and will remain,” he said adding that progress is being made on the seat alteration with the PML-Q.
