Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has achieved the revenue target of February 2023.
According to the FBR statement, the institution collected 527.3 billion rupees against the target of 527 billion. This month’s revenue is 16.3 percent higher than last year.
According to the FBR statement, the institution collected a revenue of 4 thousand 493 billion rupees in the first 8 months of the current financial year.
According to the declaration, 3 thousand 820 billion rupees collected in the first 8 months of last year.

In the first 8 months of this financial year, direct tax collection has increased by 47 percent, while in February 2023, customs duty collection has increased by 2 percent.
According to the statement, refunds of Rs. 235 billion issued during the first 8 months of the current financial year to facilitate the exporters.
According to the FBR statement, during the first 8 months of last year, refunds of Rs. 198 billion issued.
According to the declaration, despite the economic challenges, FBR determined to achieve the annual revenue target of 7,641 billion rupees.
The revenue has increased by 17 per cent compared to the collection during the same month last year (2021-22), the minister tweeted. He said that overall FBR has collected Rs 4,493 billion in the first eight months of the current financial year as against Rs 3,820 billion in the same period last year, which shows a growth of 18 percent.
