FIA decides to arrest Imran Khan in foreign funding case

According to the sources, The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) decided to arrest PTI Chairman and former Prime Minister Imran Khan in the prohibited funding case.

According to details available with ARY News, Imran Khan will arrested by FIA with the help of Lahore Police.

Additionally, a four-member team has constituted for the arrest. While the summary has sent to DGFIA for final approval.

On February 2, the IHC dismissed the PTI petition against the Election ECP decision in the prohibited funding case.

It should noted that the investigating agency registered a case against the head of Pakistan PTI and 10 other persons on the charge of receiving foreign funding.

The case was registered by the FIA Corporate Banking Circle.

The First Information Report (FIR) of the case stated that the accused. Including the former prime minister, violated the Foreign Exchange Act. And all the named persons were beneficiaries of private bank accounts.

It should recall that court has given time to Imran Khan to appear till 2 pm today to explain the different signature on the security bail application.

Imran’s decision to appear in court came after one of his bails dismissed as “non-prosecution”. Despite the former prime minister’s promise to appear in court, while the other bail rejected by the party.
