Flood in Sutlej: 74 schools closed in Pakpattan. The education department closed up to 74 schools because of the potential for flooding along the Sutlej River.
Details indicate that while education activities suspended in 23 schools in Arifwala, 51 schools in Pakpattan closed.
Six camps also established by the district administration for the displaced individuals in consideration of the rising water level in the Sutlej.

In the areas of Pir Ghani, Malik Bahawal, Malik-e-Taro, Beli Dilawar, Tibi Lal Baig, and Noora Rath, relief camps set up.
