Foreign awards in the name of banned film “Javed Iqbal”

Pakistan’s banned film Javed Iqbal has won two awards at the UK Asian Film Festival.

The doors of Pakistani cinemas were closed on the film made on the life of Javed Iqbal, the killer of 100 children, but this film is being highly appreciated internationally.

Javed Iqbal’s The Untold Story of a Serial Killer was screened at the UK Asian Film Festival in the United Kingdom.

The film’s director Abu Aliha (Ali Sajjad Shah) shared on his Facebook page that in “Javed Iqbal’s The Untold Story of a Serial Killer” Yasir Hussain has been awarded Best Actor and Abu Aliha as Best Director.

Abu Aliha further said that this is the first award received by Javed Iqbal.

Insha Allah, this film will be screened in every prestigious festival in the world of cinema and will make Pakistan famous.

The success of the film is due to complete teamwork.

Actors Yasir Hussain and Ayesha Omar have played the lead roles in Javed Iqbal.

The film was supposed to be released in January this year, but it was banned after the first show.

Who was Javed Iqbal?

In 1999, Javed Iqbal, a resident of Ghaziabad in Lahore, confessed to killing 100 children and dissolving their bodies in acid.

He later turned himself in to police.
