The Pakistan State Office has issued a notice to former Defense Minister Pervez Khattak to vacate his official residence in Minister Enclave due to ineligibility for accommodation.
According to the media report, a State official said that a notice has been sent to Pervez Khattak for vacating the bungalow No. 28 of Minister Enclave.
However, a month after the dissolution of the cabinet, Khattak has not yet vacated the house, he said, adding that the State Office had also sought help from the capital’s administration to vacate the residence.
In a letter to Deputy Commissioner Islamabad Irfan Nawaz Memon, Deputy Director Amir Ali Khan said, “Former Federal Minister Pervez Khattak was allotted Bungalow No. 3, December 2018.
The Federal Cabinet was dissolved on April 10, 2022 and he were entitled to stay there for 15 days.
However, he has not yet vacated the bungalow which was allotted to housing and works Minister Maulana Abdul Wasi on April 19, so a request has been made to the former minister to vacate the residence with a magistrate with necessary powers.
