Former Grand Slam champion tennis star Maria Sharapova has confirmed that she is expecting her first child soon.
According to the news agency ‘Reuters’, the former Russian tennis star has confirmed the expected birth of her first child in a social media post.
Maria Sharapova shared a photo of herself on the beach on Instagram, in which she can be seen with ‘Baby Bump’. The former Grand Slam champion announced the birth of his first child on the occasion of his 35th birthday.
Maria Sharapova was engaged in December 2020 to 45-year-old British industrialist Alexander Gilkes, with whom she had been in a relationship for the past few years.
This is Maria Sharapova’s second engagement and Alexander Gulkes’ second engagement. Maria Sharapova first got engaged a decade ago in 2010 at the age of 22 to an American basketball player and the two lived together for almost two years.
However, when the bitterness between the two increased in 2012, the two ended the relationship and later the tennis star established a relationship with other men.
