Haris Rauf dramatic selection in Lahore Qalandars. Fast bowler appeared in Tabish Hashmi’s talk show ‘Hasna Mana Hai’ where he made some exciting revelations about the nascent stages of his career.
He got candid about his professional as well as personal life. Also he exposed his theatrical selection procedure in the Lahore Qalandars franchise which ultimately led his selection in Pakistan Cricket Team.

He told: “There is a culture in Pakistan that you start playing cricket with tape ball. I used to play street cricket. And continued to play cricket till I eventually started playing professionally with a tape ball. I went for Lahore Qalandars trials in 2017. The gate was closed as I reached late since I had to travel all the way from Rawalpindi to Lahore. I was with my three friends so I asked them to scout the area for entrance gate. We eventually located a gate, and we entered the stadium. I cleared all the rounds an then there was a final round where I had such a high pace and bowled three times during trials. Each ball had a higher speed than the last one which led to my selection for the Lahore Qalandars.”
