SC advises Imran Khan should leave the road of protest and put his front in the National Assembly.

He should play the constitutional role of Leader of the Opposition in a positive and constructive manner.

Every democratic and constitutional politician believes in the supremacy of the Parliament.

However, if there is a need to negotiate with the government for the next election or to accept other demands, then the most suitable forum is the Parliament and not D-Chowk. Therefore, it is better that it is a national one.

Chief Justice of Pakistan Umar Atta Bandial has advised the Tehreek-e-Insaf to return to the National Assembly during the hearing of the case against the acceptance of step-by-step resignations of PTI members from the National Assembly. Elected for 5 years, PTI should play its role in Parliament because playing role in Parliament is the real duty.

The court said that the order of the High Court clearly stated that the approval of step-by-step resignations by the Speaker is legal.
