Imran Khan arrested from Zaman Park Lahore. Imran Khan, the PTI (Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf) chairman, detained shortly after the Islamabad Sessions Court found him guilty in the Toshakhana criminal case.
He taken from his home in Zaman Park. He given a three-year prison term and a five-year suspension from all public office-holding.
According to the court, Imran Khan broke the law in the Toshakhana case by lying to the election commission and using corrupt methods. He consequently fined Rs. 100,000 (one lakh rupees).
