PTI leader Fawad Chaudhry has declared it was right to sell watches by former Prime Minister Imran Khan without depositing them in the treasury.
Talking to media, Fawad Chaudhry said that whoever has a watch, whether he sells it, throws it, keeps it or gives it as a gift to someone, who else is there to ask him?
He said that it is more strange than selling a watch that the Prime Minister of the country laundered Rs. 16 billion.
Fawad Chaudhry was repeatedly asked direct questions by the reporter, but instead of answering directly, he turned the conversation around.
It is to be noted that former Prime Minister Imran Khan sold three valuable watches worth Rs. 154 million from Treasury to a watch dealer in Islamabad and earned a total of Rs. 36 million.
The three watches were donated by a member of the royal family of a Gulf island in the Middle East and a respected person from the same island.
These are in addition to the watches previously reported in the media.
