The former prime minister’s food complaint is still pending in court. But the PTI leader’s attorney expressed doubts about the food’s quality.
He questioned the cipher case’s closed hearing and urged to continue with the open trial. He claimed that the former prime minister’s conviction in cipher was related to the effort to keep him out of politics.
The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) had submitted a challan earlier today, but Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) rejected it and demanded the creation of a judicial commission to look into the cipher case.
The PTI spokesperson claimed in a statement released today that the challan filed against Shah Mehmood Qureshi, the party’s chairman and vice chairman, was “meaningless and bogus as cipher case.”
