Karachi: In view of the current political situation in the country, the dollar has reached a record high against the rupee in the history of the country.
The dollar has reached a high of Rs 190. According to the report, the dollar has become uncontrollable against the rupee in the interbank and local open currency markets.
The dollar has appreciated by more than Rs 11 in the country since March 4, while the rupee has depreciated by 19.50 per cent so far this financial year.
According to a report by Forex Association of Pakistan With a record increase of Rs 2.15 against the rupee, the buying rate of dollar increased from Rs 186.10 to Rs 188.20 and the selling price increased from Rs 186.25 to Rs 188.40.
The price increased from Rs 189 and the selling price increased from Rs 187 to Rs 190.
According to the Forex report, the value of Euro also increased by Rs 2 which increased the buying price of Euro from Rs 201 to Rs 202.50 and the selling price increased from Rs 203 to Rs 205.
Similarly, the buying price of British Pound increased by Rs 2.50 from Rs 241 to Rs 243. The selling price increased from Rs 243.50 to Rs 246.
