In the Interbank Market Dollar Reaches Rs.212

In the interbank market today, the dollar has gone up by 2 rupees 4 paisa to 212 rupees.

The dollar continues to soar in the country and the rupee continues to lose value.

On the other hand, the resumption of the IMF program is still a mystery.

If the issues are not resolved in a day or two, the situation could become more dangerous.

The government has once again invited the PTI to go along with the economy, with Federal Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah saying that the PTI should admit its mistake and sit with the government on the economic charter.

Talking with media, he said that the problem is that the IMF is not ready to create flexibility in its terms.

He said that despite the increase in the price of petrol, the IMF has not yet signed an agreement to continue, but as soon as the agreement is done, the dollar will be brought to 182.
