Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif inaugurated the Peshawar Mor to Islamabad Metro Bus Service.
In his inaugural address, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif said that the people have to decide whether to support the service or to deceive, to support lies or to fulfill promises.
He said that the previous Prime Minister is worried that he has been elected as a representative, he will work at the same pace, the previous Prime Minister will be nervous, the panic of the people is over.
The Prime Minister said that the Metro Bus Islamabad project was unfortunately stalled.
The Metro Bus Islamabad project was supposed to be operational in 2018.
However, if the PML-N government changed, it would be delayed like other projects.
He said that interest on loans is paid from national income, earlier defense expenses were also paid from national income, defense expenses in PTI government were also met from loans.
He said that the gift of Metro Bus project was given by Nawaz Sharif in 2017. He said that we complete the construction projects with loans, our income is more than the expenditure, this project was brought to Rs 16 to 12 billion.
The Prime Minister said that the funds were there, everything was there, but he was not committed to work.
He used to come to the office on a cheap Rs. 55 helicopter. Realizing, if there was pain, this plan would not have been delayed.
It may be recalled that Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, after assuming office, ordered an inquiry into the postponement of the Peshawar turn to New Islamabad Airport bus project.

Shahbaz Sharif visited the bus project, which has been delayed for four years, on April 14 at 7 am. On this occasion, the officials also gave a briefing to Shahbaz Sharif about the project.
The Prime Minister said that around Rs. 16 billion has been spent on the project so far.
Giving a briefing on the occasion, the officials said that initially 15 buses were being provided for Islamabad Metro and initially buses would be run from Saturday.
