Ishaq Dar Confirms Coming Back to Pakistan

Former finance minister and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) senior leader Ishaq Dar Tuesday confirmed that he would coming back to Pakistan in July, 2022.

He made the observations in an interview with a private news channel.

The confirmation from the previous finance minister comes a day after numerous news channels reported that:

Dar is predictable to return to Pakistan in July 2022 after the political leadership of PMLN granted him permission to move forward on this front.

Speaking to journalists on Monday, Federal Minister Ayaz Sadiq had said:

Previous finance minister Ishaq Dar will face cases registered in contradiction of him after returning to Pakistan.

“No time frame is fixed for the return of Ishaq Dar,”

Ayaz Sadiq said in his informal talk with the journalists in Islamabad today. He said Dar will take oath as a Senator.

After returning to Pakistan and will face the cases registered in contradiction of him.

Responding to a question, the federal minister said the obligatory government is not considering substituting Finance Minister Miftah Ismail.

It is relevant to reference here that:

The previous finance minister obtained a passport in early May 2022 after the government granted him permission to attain it in April 2022.

Dar is also facing numerous inquiries and also suspect of not submitting facts of his assets for 22 years.

Dar elected as a senator on a technocrat seat from Punjab in 2018. He could not take pledge due to his stay in London. Nevertheless, the SC suspended his membership over his failure to appear in court on May 8, 2018.
