Pakistan Super League team Lahore Qalandars captain Shaheen Afridi released a message after losing the match against Peshawar Zalmi.
Shaheen wrote on social media that it is difficult to lose a good match especially in the presence of father.
Shaheen Afridi wrote that ‘Abu I always try my best to make you proud of me’.
The captain of Lahore Qalandars also expressed his determination to perform well in the next match.

It should noted that in the 23rd match of PSL 8, Peshawar Zalmi defeated the Lahore Qalandars by 35 runs.
The match played at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. Peshawar Zalmi batted first and got out by scoring 207 runs in 19.3 overs.
Shaheen Afridi of Lahore Qalandars took 4 wickets. Zaman Khan, Haris Rauf and Rashid Khan took 2 and 2 wickets respectively.
Chasing a target of 208 runs, Lahore Qalandars scored 172 runs in 19.4 overs.
Qalandar’s Talat Hussain scored 63, captain Shaheen Afridi scored 52 and Sikandar Raza scored 20 runs.
Wahab Riaz and Arshad Iqbal of Peshawar Zalmi took 3, 3 wickets while Azmatullah took 2 and Aamir Jamal 1 wicket.
In the points table of PSL, Lahore Qalandars is currently on the first place and Peshawar Zalmi is on the fourth place.
Lahore Qalandars played 7 matches and won 6 while Peshawar Zalmi played 6 matches and won 3.
