Jahangir Tareen returns to Pakistan after the fall of PTI government

Jahangir Tareen, head of the Tareen group, has returned to Pakistan after the fall of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government.

He had been in London for several months for treatment.

Jahangir Tareen stayed in the UK for more than two months.

According to the most member group Salman Naeem, Jahangir Tareen and Ali Tareen have reached Lahore from Dubai.

He said that Jahangir had returned to Pakistan with the permission of most personal experts.

It is to be noted that Jahangir was first undergoing treatment in Lahore due to his terminal illness and later he left for UK for treatment.

He had gone to London a few months ago and after being treated by doctors there, he reached Dubai a few days ago after getting permission to travel.

After a few days stay in Dubai, Jahangir Tareen reached Lahore.

Jahangir Tareen has thanked his friends for calling him during his illness and asking for his well-being.

Regarding repatriation, Jahangir Tareen said that he would soon start a series of consultations and meetings with his colleagues on political issues.

It is also worth mentioning here that in the recent election of the Chief Minister of Punjab, the members of the Jehangir Tareen group had supported Hamza Shahbaz against the PTI-backed candidate Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi.

Jahangir Tareen has been a close associate of Imran Khan, a key leader and chairman of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.

In the 2018 general elections, Jahangir Tareen could not participate in the general elections due to his disqualification from the Supreme Court, but Jahangir Tareen played an important role in the formation of the government.

He was instrumental in forming the PTI government after the 2018 elections and managed to get the elected members involved in the PTI through manipulation.

After the formation of the government, the Prime Minister set up various task forces in which Jahangir Tareen was appointed as the convener of the task force in the field of agriculture.

However, after the formation of the government, a sugar crisis arose in the country and when the Prime Minister inquired from the FIA, Jahangir Tareen’s sugar mills were also found responsible for the sugar crisis.

After this, Imran Khan withdrew from the government after withdrawing the party post from Jahangir Tareen and cases were registered against him in FIA.
