Japanese airline mistakenly sold worthy tickets at low prices

Due to the mistake of the Japanese airline, many passengers were able to get air tickets worth millions for a few thousand.

According to foreign media reports, one of Japan’s largest and 5-star airlines, All Nippon Airways (ANA), has unintentionally slashed the price of business class tickets several times.

All Nippon Airways sold a ticket worth $16,300 for $890 because of a currency conversion mistake.

Many passengers got tickets worth 10 thousand dollars (8.2 lakh Pakistani rupees) for only 300 dollars (24 thousand rupees).

The Japanese airline mispriced tickets from Indonesia’s capital Jakarta to Japan, then to New York and back to Singapore and Bali.

Interestingly, a passenger paid only $890 (73 thousand rupees) for a first class ticket from Jakarta to the Caribbean via Tokyo and New York.

According to media reports, the airline said the issue was caused by a glitch on its Vietnam website. Which displayed currency conversion incorrectly.

The airline did not specify how many passengers benefited from the offer. But said it reserves the right to change fares for tickets used after one month, but for discounted tickets purchased for use before May. They have no authority.
