Chairman PTI Imran Khan’s ex-wife Jemima embodied beautiful memories of Pakistan in film.
While giving an interview to Geo News in London, Jemima said that she has distanced herself from political activities and discussions, not related to politics.
Jemima gave an emotional talk about the memories of 10 years spent in Pakistan, she said that the film ‘What Love Got To Do With It” is a romantic comedy drama.
“I lived in Pakistan for 20 to 30 years. I would say that every character or story (in the film) comes from my experience. Either I had it in one way or another or someone I met. had. All the characters are based on people I met and almost every line is taken from real life,” Ms. Goldsmith said while answering a question about her director Shekhar Kapoor, and cast members Shabana Azmi and Sajal Aly at a press junket of selected journalists for their film.
It should noted that Shekhar Kapoor directs this tele film. Jemima embodied beautiful memories of Pakistan in film.

Jemima, who also wrote the film’s screenplay, recalled hearing her friends in Pakistan say that Western films portrayed their country badly. “I really wanted to make a happy, colorful film about Pakistan. It’s a positive uplifting colorful film that hopefully brings people together. I hope it has universal themes. Although it is inspired by my personal experiences in Pakistan.”
The film features Lily James, Shahzad Latif, Shabana Azmi, Emma Thompson, Sajal Aly, Oliver Chris, Asim Chaudhry and Jeff Mirza.
