Lahore: LESCO chief resigned. The Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) chief Chaudhary Muhammad Amin has resigned from his post.
According to details, the LESCO chief sent his resignation to the chairman board of directors.
The LESCO chief Chaudhary Muhammad Amin said that he desires to spend time with his family that why he has resigned from his post.
It is related to mention here that Chaudhary Muhammad Amin appointed as LESCO chief for three years in Imran Khan-led Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) tenure.
Previously, the Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) chief banned use of ACs in the company’s offices. Following the austerity measures declared by Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif.
The sources said the LESCO chief also banned buying big vehicles and the officials directed to travel in their personal vehicles.

It is related to mention here that PM Shehbaz Sharif said a number of austerity measures and directed the ministers to enforce them strictly and no laxity in this regard would be tolerated.
The prime minister said the ‘historic decisions’ made to support austerity and ease would have a far-reaching impact that also got applause from the public.
Moreover, the officials asked to use the office’s vehicles only for official work.
