LDA unseals Sharif family properties. The release of the Sharif family’s previously frozen assets and properties on Wednesday, the final day of the coalition government, was a huge relief.
The change occurred after Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and his sons Suleman Shehbaz and Hamza Shehbaz cleared of all charges related to corruption by an accountability court.
According to the most recent reports, the Lahore Development Authority (LDA) asked in a letter by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) to unseal the properties and assets belonging to the Sharif families.
The properties of the Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s family members, including his wife Nusrat Shehbaz and sons Hamza and Suleman, also opened up. Also opened were the seals on Nusrat Shehbaz’s properties 96 and 87.
