Mark Zuckerberg warns not to screenshot chats

Mark Zuckerberg warns not to screenshot chats. Facebook owner and CEO Mark Zuckerberg has issued a warning to Messenger users not to screenshot their conversations.

Using the messaging app Messenger, users can send messages that disappear after a predetermined period of time.

In a recent update, users will be alerted if someone screenshots a message that is about to disappear, according to Zuckerberg. GIFs, stickers, and reactions have also been added as part of the update for encrypted chats.

He used a lighthearted conversation between him and his wife to demonstrate how the notification works. The function is comparable to what is already present on Snapchat, where messages and images eventually vanish.

Users of the Messenger platform now have the option to set their messages to vanish, giving their conversations an extra layer of privacy.
