Isha Ambani & Bollywood’s famous actress Alia Bhatt made a splash on the red carpet of the Met Gala 2024.
The Met Gala held every year on the first Monday of May at the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute in New York City, USA. And is attended by famous film stars and models from around the world.
This year, Alia Bhatt and Isha Ambani from India participated in floral dresses. However, the theme of this year’s Met Gala 2024 is the ‘Garden of Time’.
Indian actress Alia Bhatt attended the Met Gala 2024 in a 9-yard saree. Which designed by Sabyasachi, with beautiful hand-embroidered flowers. However, the 23-foot-long pallu of Alia’s saree grabbed everyone’s attention.
According to Indian media reports, the actress’s traditional yet embellished saree crafted by around 163 artisans in 1965 hours at this global fashion event.
On the other hand, Isha Ambani, the only daughter of the Indian businessman Mukesh Ambani, appeared in the pair of fashion designer Rahul Mishra.
In keeping with this year’s Garden of Time theme, Isha Ambani chose a hand-embroidered saree gown by Rahul Mishra.
Like Alia Bhatt, Isha Ambani styled by renowned Indian stylist Anita Shroff Adajania at the Met Gala 2024. According to Anita Shroff Adajania, it took 10,000 hours to create this beautiful Isha Ambani saree gown. Which has delicate designs of flowers, butterflies, and dragonflies.
According to the stylist, various techniques have been used for the embroidery done on this appliqué work including Farshi, Zardozi, Nakshi, Dabka, and French Tinka.
