Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has summoned the leaders of PDM parties for Iftar today.
The names of the cabinet are expected to be announced by tonight after consultation with the allies.
According to government sources, the Iftar dinner will be hosted by Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif at the Prime Minister’s House.
According to the Government sources, the Prime Minister will thank the leaders of the PDM parties for their support.
It should be noted that the new government is likely to have 12 PML-N and 7 PPP ministers. PPP’s Raja Pervez Ashraf for the post of Speaker National Assembly and JUI’s candidate for the post of Deputy Speaker are being declared as favorites.
According to reports, in the new government, MQM Pakistan is likely to get the governorship of Sindh and PPP is likely to get the governorship of Punjab.
Similarly, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor JUI and Balochistan Governor BNP Mengal are expected to be taken.
The JUI-F has 3 federal ministers and 1 minister of state, the MQM is likely to get 2 ministries including Jaha Zarani, BAP and BNP Mengal are also likely to get 2 ministries while the ANP is expected to be given the communications ministry.
