9 New Zealand cricketers have contracts in the Indian Premier League while 4 cricketers have got the opportunity to play matches so far.

In IPL a team can include 4 foreign players in the playing XI for a match, New Zealand players are facing difficulties to be part of the playing XI.

According to New Zealand media, New Zealand cricketers are seen running for water and only practicing.

Kane Williamson has scored 27 runs in two matches sitting out three matches, while fast bowler Trent Boult has taken 5 wickets in 4 matches and Rachin Ravindra has scored 112 runs in 5 matches, New Zealand’s most expensive player Daryl Mitchell has five wickets. 118 runs have been scored in the matches.

Mitchell Santner, Dion Conway, Lockie Ferguson, Glenn Phillips, and Matt Henry are yet to get a match in the IPL.
