Pakistan amplifies time for transportation of Indian help to Afghanistan

The Pakistani government has allowed India’s ask to amplify the time period for overland transportation of compassionate help from India to Afghanistan which lapsed on Walk 21, Pakistan’s Outside Service said.

“As a manifestation of our sincere efforts towards addressing the humanitarian crisis in Afghanistan, it has been decided to grant two months’ extension to facilitate completion of the transportation,” the ministry said in a declaration Sunday night.

“All the modalities shall remain the same as earlier communicated to the Indian side,” said the announcement.

The Indian government had as of late asked for expansion within the period to total the transportation prepare, it added.

Pakistan endorsed that in November final year “as an extraordinary signal to the Afghan individuals,” the transportation of 50,000 metric tons of wheat and lifesaving medications as compassionate help, the explanation said.
