Lahore: Eid-ul-Fitr will be celebrated with religious fervor all over the country today.
Large gatherings of Eid prayers will be held in which special prayers will be offered for the development and prosperity of the country and the nation.
The biggest Eid prayer gathering in the federal capital Islamabad will be at the Faisal Mosque where former Prime Minister and PTI Chairman Imran Khan will offer Eid prayers along with the country’s top personalities.
While the largest Eid prayer gathering in the Punjab provincial capital Lahore will be at historic Badshahi mosque where Governor Punjab Omar Sarfraz and expected Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif and Chief Minister Punjab will offer Eid prayers.
President Dr. Arif Alvi Karachi, Asif Zardari, Nawab Shah, Speaker Punjab Assembly Chaudhry Parvez Elahi and PML-Q President Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain will offer prayers in Gujarat along with the family.
Noon League Vice President and former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s daughter Maryam Nawaz Ahsan Iqbal, Khawaja Saad Rafique, Ayaz Sadiq, Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami Sirajul Haq will celebrate Eid in Lahore.
Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa Rawalpindi, Yousuf Raza Gilani, Shah Mehmood Qureshi Multan, Maulana Fazlur Rehman will celebrate Eid in Dera Ismail Khan and Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah in Karachi.
