Parvez Elahi arrested in money laundering case. In a case involving money laundering, the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) detained Chaudhry Parvez Elahi, the leader of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), on Wednesday.
The former Punjab chief minister held by the police in connection with corruption cases. When the FIA team arrested him from the Lahore camp jail. A court would present the PTI leader to receive his physical remand.
A day prior, the agency filed a complaint against him and his son Chaudhry Moonis Elahi for alleged money laundering in the Panama scandal.
