PDMA issues alert India releases more water in Sutlej. On Wednesday, India released an additional 225,000 cusecs of water into the Sutlej River.

In the coming 24 hours, a medium- to high-level flood anticipated at Ganda Singh in the Sutlej River, according to the Pakistan Disaster Management Authority (PDMA). The district administration instructed by the PDMA to maintain strict compliance with Section 144 along the river and to be on high alert.

At Ganda Singh, the water inflow is 60000 cusecs, and the outflow is also 60000 cusecs.

The border regions of Kasur are once again experiencing high flood conditions as the water released by India will reach Pakistan in the next 24 hours.
